Google
has unveiled an official Google Maps App for iOS devices. It comes with all of
the features that expect. The main features of Google Maps includes voice
guided turn-by-turn navigation, public transit and walking directions, Google Street
view, 2D and 3D maps, built-in Google local search and more.
You can also search for places like your favorite restaurant to eat, drink and shop. Including an info showing the address, rating and reviews, opening hours, directions, images and other information.
Additionally,
Google Maps lets you access live traffic information in cities across the
world, and view high resolution satellite imagery of locations around the world.
“The new Google Maps app is
available for the iPhone and iPod Touch (4th gen) iOS 5.1 and higher, in more than 40 countries and 29 languages, including Chinese,
Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish. Please note some
of the features mentioned in this post aren’t available in all countries.”
Google
says it's rolling out across the world globally right now. Google Maps is free
of course, and available now.
